*Photo Restoration*
The original photo is 50 years old, and was given to me to handle some colour correction and damage repair (scratches, dust, tears, wrinkles). The image on the left is the photo as scanned, the image on the right was the finished restoration.

*Animated Advertising*
Love it or hate it, animated ads mean a better chance of your corporate name and presence being remembered. In my work for AOL Yellow Pages, I designed tile ads that accompany searches of various businesses. These ads stand out from the simple text listings, and that means revenue. They are harder to do than they look, as all information has to fit, clearly and cleanly, within a space that is merely 120 pixels by 90 pixels, and the entire file cannot be over 15kb!

*Odd Requests*
Sometimes, I get a request that seems off the wall, but in the end turns out to be one of my favourite projects. A friend asked for some advice about making fake logos for a "Miskatonic University Hazardous Materials Unit" suit (Miskatonic University being a college that figured in the writings of H.P. Lovecraft), and I ended up doing an entire set of them, which he printed on heat-transfer paper and made into a costume for a convention he was attending.
